Conflict Resolution | Rosewell House | Wednesday, 14. August 2019

Course Title:

Conflict Resolution

Who this course is suitable for:

All staff

Course overview:

Here is a truth; conflict is inevitable.
People don’t always see eye-to-eye. People disagree. People argue. And conflict is an inherent part of what we are.
However, it is how we deal and manage the conflict that is important. Some people are too pushy and say too much. Others are too passive and don’t say anything at all.
However, fear not.   This fully interactive ½ day workshop is designed to help you deal with those difficult, highly emotional conflict situations in a more effective manner.
Changing what you do, what you say and how you say it, will create changes in other people. Even if you don't always get what you want, YOU will be driving what happens.
Learn to say what you mean, without saying it mean.

Learning outcomes:

By the end of this workshop you will be able to:

Recognise and understand the nature of conflict;
Identify techniques which will help prepare you for dealing with difficult people;
Adopt strategies which may prevent conflict arising;
**** up to conflict and difficult people confidently, proportionately and appropriately.
