Bob Fisher Memorial Lecture - Working Platform Design for Tracked Plant | Room G34 | Tuesday, 22. January 2019

David Faux is a chartered civil engineer with fifteen year’s industry experience in both the consulting and contracting sectors. He currently works for Roger Bullivant Limited and specialises in the geotechnical and geo-environmental fields. David has an MSc in Geotechnical Engineering and, as part of his final year’s dissertation, conducted research on alternative methods of working platform design and construction.
The presentation will discuss how working platforms are critical to rig stability and construction site safety, and why their economical design is key to ensuring the sustainability of the piling industry. A discussion on the design, installation and validation of working platforms will be included.    
The technical meeting constitutes 2 hours of CPD.
