WHAT IS ROLLER DERBY?
Roller Derby is a fun, strategic, fast paced contact sport played on roller skates - and we're looking for new members! Roller skating and Roller Derby is a fun and social way to improve your fitness, agility and strength! We are a friendly and supportive league with a strong social aspect as well as options for competitive play and travel! We're looking for future skaters and skating officials. We provide a comprehensive training programme where we will teach you all the skating skills, from stopping safely, stance and stride, backwards skating and even jumping! Our coaches and mentors will make sure you have all the support you need.

Our new skater sessions are Mondays 7-9pm at Moseley School Birmingham, and then on the weekends 10am-12pm (either a Saturday or a Sunday - please check in advance as this does alternate) at Joseph Chamberlain College Birmingham. HOW DO I BOOK?The session is free but you do need to book. Once you reserve a ticket via our eventbrite, please email ccrkitrequest@gmail.com with your details, including whether you require skate hire (what size) and protective gear (like pads and helmet). Kit hire is free but first come first served due to limits.
Your first session is FREE and after that it is only £5 for each 2 hour session.
