PBSGL Facilitator Training | the studio | Friday, 14. December 2018

Hi everyone!
Firstly, a 'thank you' to everyone who attended the opening of #CCTandME Black Country event. It was really great to meet you all, to hear about your experiences so far and hopes for the future of GP.
A couple of points of clarity:
Problem based small group learningTo help clear up any questions, facilitator training is on 14th December 18 1000hrs to 1600hrs at the Studio, near New Street Station.
PBSGL is an online platform that offers a repository of cases to discuss in small groups, outlining guidelines, recommended practice, and with action points to take away and tangibly change your practice. As well as enhancing your own and group's knowledge and share practice, it provides the opportunity to meet constructively, and generally catch up!
Once you have had your facilitator training, you just need to get a group of 4 - 12 GP trainees and First5s/newly qualified GPs together from your area that you want to be in a learning group with. It may be that those people have already enrolled on the #CCTandME programme, it might be that they didn't know about it and would be keen to attend and come along with you in the future! The individuals in your group will get a 12 month PBSGL subscription funded (usually £120 each per year) to have their own individual account to access the cases, and record reflections for their appraisals. So gather your group of four to eight, send us your email addresses, organise a date to meet, we will get you registered, and then off you go!
If you didn't originally register to facilitate a group but would now like to attend, please get in touch, and we will find space for you!
See you on Friday 14th December at the studio, 7 Cannon St, Birmingham B2 5EP. Registration opens at 9.30am. The training room is called 'imagine', which is on the first floor of the studio venue. Lunch will be provided. And dress as you please.
