Dim Sum class with Kitchen Academy | Tuesday, 14. May 2019

Small-plate cooking the Chinese way!

Chinese cuisine has long embraced what many in the UK are only just discovering today – that you get more bang for your buck with ****-sized dishes. In this hands-on course, you will be taken on a journey of discovery to learn about the different styles of dim sum and the specialist ingredients needed for them, before preparing and cooking your own using a traditional steamer basket over a wok.

You will create siu mai, a type of open wonton, and learn three types of folds for dumplings with different flavourings and fillings.

What previous participants said: "Amazing class, thank you so much! Liked the interactive experience, relaxing environment and teacher." "Will definitely try this again at home." "Really enjoyed the whole evening; learning all the folding techniques and watching the chef."
