Dogtoberfest - Bristol | The Prince Street Social | Sunday, 06. October 2019

We’re bringing the traditional German festival to you and your pooch in Bristol on Sunday 6th October! You can enjoy plenty of bier, Bavarian music, a twist on traditional games and plenty of entertainment.
Your pooch will have plenty of Überraschungen (surprises) in-store, including treats, prizes, goody bags and more.
We’re even hosting dog show classes throughout the day, ending with our Most Handsome Hansel and Gorgeous Gretel – Wunderbar!
There are three sessions throughout the day with something for everyone even the Kinder (children)! 
--- Kindergarten Session ---
One child and one dog can go free per ticket!
We're kicking off the morning off with Family Furiendly celebrations, complete with games, entertainment and a Kinder Disko for the children to enjoy! There will also be a dog show for the kids to get involved with, searching for the best double act (child and dog) and best fancy dress costumes.
With your Kindergarten ticket, you'll receive an apple or orange juice on arrival, a goody bag filled with treats for the dogs (including their very own pretzel) and the chance to win prizes for both humans and dogs in the games.
Tom Harper Photography will also be there to capture the moments with a themed backdrop and there will also be plenty of German Brunch offers from Prince Street Social! (Photos and food not included in the ticket)

--- Alpine Session ---
One dog free per ticket!
The Alpine session is our laid-back afternoon of entertainment for adults and older children. Entertainment includes yodeling for you all to get involved with and a stand-up comedy act from Hannah E Phillips!
With your Alpine ticket, you'll receive a beer or juice on arrival, a goody bag filled with treats for the dogs (including their very own pretzel) and the chance to win prizes for both humans and dogs in the games. We'll also be dishing some doggy beer for the pooches to taste. 
Throughout the afternoon you'll get to play our famous, Sling the Sausage and enter a dog show searching for the best fancy dress and party *****.
Tom Harper Photography will also be there to capture the moments with a themed backdrop and there will also be plenty of German food offers from Prince Street Social! (Photos and food not included in the ticket)
VIP Tickets to the Alpine Session include a VIP pass for your pooch, VIP seating, a free souvenir tankard, a free digital photo portrait of your pooch courtesy of Tom Harper Photography and plenty of Überraschungen (surprises) for you and your pooch. 

--- Bierfest Session ---
One dog free per ticket!
Grab your lead and pick up a stein because this is where the main Oktoberfest celebrations begin! The Bierfest session is the ultimate party with your pooch, packed with entertainment from Bavarian Band the Bierkeller Boys! These guys have performed for celebrities such as Ant & Dec, Stephen Mulhern, Dermot O’Leary, and Keith Lemon!
You'll get to have a big sing-along and play plenty of games with the Bierkeller Boys throughout the evening with prizes available for you and the pooch! At the end of the night, we'll be doing one final dog show crowning the Most Handsome Hansel and Gorgeous Gretel!

--- FAQs ---
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
The Kindergarten session is open to all ages, the afternoon event is strictly 13+ and the evening event is strictly 18+. If you're lucky enough to look under 21 you may be asked for ID. 
What's the refund policy?
Due to the nature of our events, we're unable to offer refunds.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
If you're able to show the ticket on your phone this is fine, otherwise printed copies will be accepted. 
Do I need to book online? Can I pay at the door?
You need a confirmed online booking to attend as all our events are strictly booking only. We do not allow walk-ins
Can we take more than one dog per person?
One dog per person with each Session or VIP ticket purchased. If you have more than one dog per person you're more than welcome to bring them along by purchasing an extra dog ticket!
Does my dog need to meet certain criteria to attend?
Yes! As is the same with all our events. All dogs attending must be:

Friendly and well socialised
Well behaved
Toilet trained
Up to date with vaccinations
Healthy and not showing any symptoms of contagious illness (incl Kennel Cough)
Not in season at the event

Should I bring my anxious Dog?
If your pooch is anxious or nervous then it is up to you as a responsible owner to decide whether the event is suitable for them. We're a big fan of the Yellow Dog Campaign, so if you have something yellow please pop it on your lead or as a bandana around your pooch. However, we cannot guarantee that a quiet space will be available.
What if I need First Aid assistance?
There will be a member of staff first aid trained in both humans and dogs, so if you have any concerns please see Adele at the venue. If you need urgent emergency help for any humans participating in the event, we will help to call an ambulance to the nearest hospital. If you need urgent veterinary help for your pooch, we will help you call to arrange an emergency appointment at the nearest vet. 
Does the Prince St Social take credit/debit card and is there an ATM nearby?
Yes, the Prince St Social takes card for all food and drink purchases. The nearest ATM is just down from Prince St at Merchant News. 
Nearest place to park?
There are plenty of car parks nearby. The cheapest ones are Queen Sq BS1 4NT and The Grove BS1 4RB. There is also an NCP on Prince Street BS1 4QF.
Nearest Train?
The nearest station is Bristol Temple Meads which is a 15-minute walk away.
Nearest Dog Furiendly hotel?
There's plenty of dog friendly hotels in the city center, including Novotel Bristol City Centre and Premier Suites in Redcliffe and Cabot Circus. If you're looking for something a little more budget, all Travelodges are dog friendly and Ibis in Bristol City Centre is too.
What can I bring into the event?
Bring yourself, your pooch and your dependants (if applicable). You may bring food and treats for your four-legged friends but please don't bring outside food and drink, they will be available to purchase from Prince Street Social.
