Blowout Presents

Parachute for Gordo

An instrumental Post Rock band based in the cultural capitals of Aldershot, London and Berlin. Since 2012 they have been known for their playful, intimate live shows and an ambitious DIY approach to creating their musical projects. They have played live with bands including And So I Watch You From Afar, Poly Math, Gallops, The Physics House Band and Adam Betts’ Colossal Squid.

“Best Understood by Children and Animals” is the 4th album from the underground veterans, released by Beth Shalom Records in February 2020. This album sees the band expand their sound in every direction to make something more expansive, intense and more intricate than ever before.

With Support From

A confused, loud, instrumental and experimental duo based in Dublin. Sailing between Math-Rock grooves and progressive ambient soundscapes, they use thought-provoking samples as a lead vocal.

A four-piece band based in Norwich, UK. A cathartic combination of alt-rock, grungy riffs and math-rock undertones, HANK plummet into the depths of personal chaos, love and anxiety.

“Music that will put hair on your chest, even if you don't want it.” - BBC 6 Music, Tom Robinson
