Hidden Valley, Waterfalls, Pools And Fish Nibbling Toes! | Friday, 11. September 2020

Due to exceptional interest in this walk we've added another - the original magical Fish Day has sold out so do go get booking your spot on this one :)

Here's looking forward to another fine day out exploring secret places in the Brecon Beacons...

The valley of the Nant Crew is rarely visited and is gorgeous. It's a 'secret place' that is deserving of a day walk of it's own. So this will be a walk for much of the day that has us ambling up stream and exploring the small waterfalls and pools along the way.

The highlight is a visit to the pictured pool, deep enough for swimming and usually full of fishes that approach you and suck on your toes :)

This will be a fun and memorable day out and well worth being in our Wonderful Wednesdays programme :)

If this event is SOLD OUT do search the programme for other great events with availability.

This walk will be led by Andy Lamb who has been a Brecon Beacons National Park Part Time Warden and BBNP Volunteer and Guided Walks Co-ordinator, Chair of Brecon Beacons Tourism, a D of E and The Princes Trust Co-ordinator in Powys, in RCT and in Merthyr Tydfil and is currently the owner of Wales Outdoors. Andy is a Mountain Leader with nearly 30 years of guiding in Wales and further afield experience. You'll have an informative, fun and memorable day :)

We charge for these walks in order to have a vibrant and exciting programme of events available to group members. The charge ensures that delivery is sustainable. We offer a range of walks of different lengths and difficulties so hope to cover most levels of ability/fitness.

The key objectives of the group are to get people outdoors and walking and socialising with others who enjoy the same. We encourage the development of interest in the hills and mountains of Wales and we encourage our members to build their skills and to get out on their own or to look to us for guided adventures in the UK and abroad.

Adventure Activity South Wales is actively seeking members and new walking leaders.

Public liability insurance to 10 Million per occurrence is provided for these events. This is with ‘Protectivity’ and the policy number is 444900072858 - 9/11/19 to 8/11/20. All participate at their own risk and as adults or parents decide whether the chosen event is for them. The level of participation in any event is always a personal choice. We recommend that you take out a personal activity insurance plan to protect any loss of income following an accident. Here is a link to one of the numerous companies offering this service - https://www.protectivity.com/sports-accident-insurance/

Returned spots will be credited if we have 3 or more days notice.

There will be no credit for spots not taken up even with notice of up to 3 days. This is because it is unlikely, given that amount of notice, that we'll be able to fill the spot/s.
