Strength for Life: Strength & Fitness Training for Older Adults. 10 Week Training Programme. | The Centre for Sport and Exercise Science | Thursday, 27. June 2019

Strength For Life is a programme to improve the health and wellbeing of older adults. 
We train people to be healthier, fitter and stronger in old age and to have a greater quality of life through better function and improved physical strength. At Strength For Life we use an evidence based approach that is informed by physiotherapy and strength and conditioning practices. Our practitioners are highly experienced and qualified to offer participants a great training experience. 
This 10 week training programme will take you through a range of exercises to help you become fitter and stronger for living a better, healthier life. Sessions take place on Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. The 10 week programme also includes an initial screening session in which we'll assess your needs and ensure we manage your programme in the right way for you so you get the best results. 
Please note that course pre screening will take place before the programme starts. Thsi will help profile you, make sure the programme is right for you and to ensure we can adapt the content to your needs. You will be contacted once you have signed up to book your pre screen session. 
10 week course starts Thursday 27th June.
