Supervisory Management Skills - 2-day course
Who should attend:  Supervisors new to the supervisory role or Supervisors wishing to develop their skills further.  You must have staff reporting to you or be about to take up such position.

Have increased awareness of the role and requirements of a supervisor.

Know how to motivate and engage employees and teams in the achievement of goals and targets
Know how to effectively and consistently communicate in a manner which engenders clear employee understanding of their role and fosters positive relationships.
Understand and apply employment legislation and internal policy in a consistent manner as it applies to the situation and circumstances.
Know when and how to escalate issues to the relevant person/department for further support in a timely manner

IMPORTANT - please note that non-attendance without a minimum of 48 hours will result in a departmental charge of €150.
We offer a light lunch on our full day courses which consists of sandwiches, wraps, tea /coffee.    We endeavour to accommodate allergies including coeliac; shellfish/nut allergies; and vegan/vegetarian staff (Please notify us in advance). However we rely on the capacity of providers in this regard.  Participants are encouraged to make their own arrangements where this better meets their requirements.
