Campus Engage Working Group members have developed and delivered training on Engaged Research for Impact to hundreds of staff across the higher educations sector in Ireland and abroad.

"Engaged Research: Society & Higher Education - Working Together to Address Societal Challenges." Date:  2019 dates TBC Time: 9.30am- 2pm (Networking lunch 1:00pm—2:00pm) Location: TBC By attending this one-day training workshop, researchers will:


Deepen their understanding of principles of Engaged Research (ER);


Gain greater knowledge of existing IRC, HRB, SFI engaged research funding calls, proposal and project life cycle;


Gain greater knowledge of engagement methods and activities and the Campus Engage Engaged Research Framework;


Build capacity and competency in engaged research methods, planning for impact, 


Deepen understanding on why Engaged Research is important for society, and individual researcher.


This workshop has been piloted with the EU Commission Horizon 2020 National Contact Point Academy and Science Foundation Ireland.
It is complemented by bespoke training slides, case studies, impact planning tool, hands-on exercises, and copies of the Campus Engage - Irish Research Council, Engaged Research, Society and Higher Education, Addressing Social Challenges Together ‘How to Guides’. Target audience: advanced, early career researchers, and support staff. Places are very limited and available to external stakeholders so sign up now!
