Hot Issues in Health: Colorado Health Access Survey | The Hilton Denver Inverness | Friday, 06. December 2019

Since 2009, the Colorado Health Access Survey (CHAS) has been the foremost source of data informing public policy on Coloradans’ health, coverage, and care. When CHI shared six big headlines this fall, we listened to your reactions. What we heard were the most pressing questions around the state in Colorado’s health community. And we promised more.
What does the CHAS tell us about:

Declining Medicaid enrollment?
The state’s opioid crisis?
The uptick in employer-sponsored insurance?
The implications for the state’s new “public option” for health insurance?
The Coloradans who continue to struggle amid a booming economy?

To address these questions — and others on access to care, oral health, advance directives, behavioral health, housing, and food security — the team at CHI has been hard at work crunching the numbers.
We can’t wait to share what we’ve found.
** Please note that you only need to register for this event if you are NOT attending the Hot Issues in Health conference**

The Rendezvous features hosts Jeff Bontrager and Eli Boone taking a deep dive into the new data, and includes Friendly Feud, an unapologetic riff on America’s favorite survey-based game show.
We’ve scheduled the session to immediately follow CHI’s signature policy conference, Hot Issues in Health. The CHAS Results Rendezvous is free of charge and open to both conference attendees and the public. We will also livestream it on our website.
Boxed lunches are provided and space is limited, so an RSVP is required from anyone not already registered for the conference, which is a ticketed event. All in-person Rendezvous attendees will also receive an advance hard copy of the 2019 CHAS Findings Report.
