Visit to Lullingstone Roman Villa and the River Darent (Kent) | DA4 0JA | Saturday, 12. September 2020

Lullingstone is a magnificent and well-preserved Roman villa with fabulous mosaics. It lies in a delightful part of the Kent countryside, conveniently sited near the railway and with a big car park.  
This visit will be of special interest to students studying A330 Classical Myth and A340 Roman Empire.

Lots of car parking by the museum – 15 minutes’ walk from Eynsford Station on the Blackfriars-Seven Oaks line.
First we visit the villa, with time to explore after a guided tour. Then we explore the surrounding countryside with a short walk along the pretty River Darent and a very good nearby cafe. Please stay for a cup of tea! 
Nearby is the village of Eynsford with lots of good pubs for lunch.
