Putting the Curriculum at the Heart of Primary Education | West London Free School Primary | Wednesday, 13. February 2019

This course is aimed at head teachers and senior leaders, curriculum leaders and teachers.
Amanda Spielman, Ofsted’s Chief Inspector, recently said ‘at the very heart of education sits the vast accumulated wealth of human knowledge and what we choose to impart to the next generation: the curriculum’.
This course will explore effective curriculum development, and how to design and implement a well-sequenced, knowledge-rich curriculum.
The course will be led by Alex Pethick, the Curriculum Director for the Knowledge Schools Trust’s ‘Primary Knowledge Curriculum’.
Throughout the day, participants will be encouraged to reflect on their school’s curriculum and practices. There will be time dedicated to sharing ideas and collaborative curriculum design.
Please arrive at 9.30am for a 10am start. Lunch will be provided and the day will finish at 2.30pm.If you have any dietary requirements, or require assistance with access, please do let us know in advance.
