Crowdfunding – What is it and what makes it successful? | Inshes Church of Scotland | Friday, 23. August 2019

Have you heard of crowdfunding but don't really know what it involves? Or you are looking for innovative ways to fund your project? Join us at this seminar to find out if crowdfunding is right for you and meet the crowdfunding platforms.
Tim Wright from Twintagibles will be introducing the concept of crowdfunding and providing his top ten tips to avoid the pitfalls.
Community Shares Scotland will also be sharing how they can support you to raise funds. Community shares are a way for people to invest in what matters to them. Community members buy shares in enterprises that meet their needs. In turn, the enterprise is owned and controlled by the community it serves. This flexible form of finance has been used to fund shops, pubs, communtiy centres and even a distillery.
