REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene Course | Inverness College UHI | Monday, 02. September 2019

This course will provide basic knowledge of safe and hygienic methods of handling and storing food.

• Bacteria, their effect and how to control risks
• Food poisoning and prevention
• Temperature control of food
• Food premises, equipment and utensils
• Pests and control thereof
• Cleaning and disinfection
• Food Law and the role of Environmental Health Officers
