Improving professionalism to achieve outstanding teaching, learning and assessment


This event will be facilitated by Ann Gravells  and Sharron Mansell, author of the new QTLS text book.


It is aimed at all practitioners who work in the further education (FE) and skills sector.


The atmosphere will be informal and friendly. 


There will be key speakers, workshops and exhibitors.

Aim
Delegates will have the opportunity to:


gain information regarding hot topics in the FE and skills sector

11.30  Sharron Mansell (Author and Assistant Principal): Teaching, learning and assessment approaches: how you can use different, engaging and interesting techniques to ensure learning is taking place (discussion and workshop)

14.30 Speaker and workshop - Debbie Forsythe-Conroy (Author and Specialist in quality improvement strategies): What does 'outstanding' look like? Includes an update regarding changes to the Common Inspection Framework (CIF) which will become the Education Inspection Framework (EIF)

The venue is about five minutes walk from Leeds train station in the city centre, just off Park Row and before The Headrow at:

Ann Gravells Ltd is not registered for VAT, therefore the ticket price is exempt.


If, for any reason, you cannot attend the event after making your booking, we will be happy for you to transfer your ticket to someone else. Unfortunately, refunds are not offered.


Parking is available close by at many of the Leeds city centre car parks, for example Q Park (closest), The Light, The Merrion Centre and St John's Centre.
