Dusk Bat Walk at St Aidan's | RSPB St Aidan's nature park | Friday, 31. May 2019

Suitable for both adults and children:
Join us on a bat hunt as dusk falls across St Aidan's. We’ll learn about their habits and sounds, searching by sight and listening for their clicks with bat detectors.
If we're lucky, we'll see tiny pipistrelles feeding in the air, noctules searching for moths, and Daubenton's darting and gliding over the water.
Bring along a bat detector if you have one (although we can provide some!) warm clothes and a torch are advised.
Booking essential.

Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
No minimum age but please be aware that it may be chilly and will involve walking on rough ground at dusk.
What can I bring into the event?
Warm clothes and a torch, and a bat detector if you have one!
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Call on 01977 628 191 or e-mail fairburnings@
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, just yourself and a sense of adventure.
