About this Event
A weekly coached fitness session to improve their speed and technique over 5km. A supportive, weekly guided session for those comfortable already running 5km, but wishing to develop their fitness, improve their technique and achieve a fast personal best. Each Monday we will do a thorough warm up followed by technique drills. The third part of the session will work on one of the six aspects of fitness required to run a fast 5km, before finishing with a cool down and some stretches whilst we chat about this week's homework activities.
The meeting point: Tram Park at Roundhay Park
Kit: any comfy workout clothes and a water bottle. (You may prefer to run in trail shoes during the winter).
Cost: £8.00 per session and can be paid by BACS transfer or on Eventbrite and includes a personal plan for each week to help you practice what you have learnt.
