Key Learning Outcomes
This one day workshop is designed to give you the opportunity to:

Understand how the Numicon approach and teaching materials can support the mastery of mathematics;
Explore how the Numicon approach supports mastery through the use of concrete resources, teaching support materials and tools;
Experience a range of low threshold, high ceiling Numicon activities designed to develop mastery;
Discover the potential of Numicon in developing conceptual and procedural fluency; 
Consider the role problem solving and reasoning skills have in the wider mastery agenda;
Collaborate on ways in which you will use Numicon to enhance the teaching and learning of mathematics back in your school, inspiring you to develop resilient and confident mathematicians.

Who is this for?
Maths Subject Leaders, Key Stage 2 Phase Leaders, and teachers of Years 1-6/P2-7.
