3D design software bootcamp, for young people 10-13yrs | Redbridge Central Library, Lab Central | Thursday, 16. May 2019

A 2 session hands on workshop (Thursdays 16 and 23 May ** you need to attend both sessions ** ) for comparing and assessing the best 3D software for any given task. A regular part of the 3D digital design workflow process, the main focus will be on establishing a baseline skill level in 3D modelling. This allows participants to understand and use parametric modelling tools (shapes & measurements) and free form modelling tools (moulding & shaping digital clay). After attending you will be able to make informed decisions on what is best for a specific task.
Please bring your own storage device (usb, sd card or portable hard-drive) to save your work.
Please notice that children will be unsupervised during the comfort break, if this concerns you please make sure you are in the library during the duration of the workshop.
IMPORTANT: These sessions are free. If you cannot attend please cancel the ticket on Eventbrite or let us know by email, or phone 020 8708 2414. This is so we can offer the space to someone else. Please be respectful of the effort we are putting into delivering these events. Thank you for your cooperation.
