Gemma Bellman is the Director of Europe at Glossier Inc, where she champions the company’s growth in Europe from its headquarters in London. Gemma has over a decade of beauty industry experience from sales and marketing at L'Oréal; to online content and community building as Founder of the get-the-look app, BeautySpotter; and later as Managing Director of Get The Gloss. She has also served on the advisory board of Feelunique and now acts as a member of the Executive Board of the British Beauty Council.
Emilie Spire is an Associate at Felix Capital, focusing on BeautyTech. Prior Felix, she spent 2 years at BlaBlaCar, a global long distance carpooling platform, as a Corporate Development Associate and then Operations Project Manager. She entered the tech world as Associate at Partech Ventures, a VC firm based in Paris.

Venetia Archer, named as one of the Forbes' 30 Under 30, is the Founder & CEO of Ruuby, London's on-demand beauty bookings platform. A graduate of the University of Cambridge, Venetia began her career as a geopolitical risk analyst in the field of East African conflict, before she launched Ruuby in 2015. Ruuby's premium marketplace model now connects busy Londoners with an extensive community of freelance beauty therapists.
Djimbi Djevdet is the founder and CEO of Makeup Addiction. Since their launch in 2012, the founder Djimbi Djimbi Djevdet’s diagnosis of fibromyalgia led her to create Makeup Addiction, now a cult beauty brand with in excess of 1.2 million followers on Instagram. Her passion for beauty has driven her to create inclusive high end cosmetics without the high end price tag.
Colette Newberry is a true brand and product visionary. Her career has seen her work across multiple brands and roles within the beauty industry. Driven by a desire and passion for every element of the customer brand experience, Colette has worked across marketing, branding and product development for brands such as No7, Soap and Glory and Liz Earle at Boots and more recently as the COO of WAH Nails. Utilising this extensive customer knowledge combined with creativity and imagination, Colette co-founded BE for Beauty; creating a studio of brands to answer consumer needs, trends and with products that will always strive to be better, notably The Inkey List, which in just 8 months, has taken the beauty industry by storm – selling one product every 30 seconds.
Theresa Yee, Senior Editor at WGSN Beauty, has 12 years’ experience in the cosmetic industry. Prior to joining WGSN she worked across consumer magazines and at the luxury beauty retailer Space NK. An experienced trend forecaster she has acted as a consultant on projects with leading global beauty brands across the UK, US and Asia. Theresa travels extensively, attending trade shows and events in New York, London, Seoul, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Paris. She is a trusted commentator on the beauty industry widely quoted in newspapers and magazines and is a regular contributor to expert beauty podcasts.
