Dynamic Yoga with Elodie Saurat | Monday, 20. January 2020
About this Event
Dynamic Yoga is based on a creative sequence of postures and movement. It enables the body to build endurance, flexibility and strength while focusing on alignment and form of individual posture that makes a yoga practice more efficient and prevent injury.
Class structure is designed to address the more harmful postural impact of our sedentary and desk-bound 21st century lifestyles. The class starts with a flow taught at a slow pace. To keep classes fresh, the format allows for a plenty of variations from one session to another.
The class ends with a 5-10 minutes relaxation to release the muscles and integrate the work you have done during the class, before you continue with the rest of your day.The teacher demonstrates during the class and assist the students who wish to receive hands-on adjustments. You are encouraged to shift to personal practice and do what feels right for your body whenever you need to.
You don’t need to be flexible or have practiced yoga before to join the class. The teacher has a welcoming attitude towards variations and self-practice. The cues and alignment are based on the understanding of skeletal variations and hence are functional rather than aesthetic. Your body, your yoga! You will leave the class feeling calmer, reset and energized to continue with the rest of your day.
