Observational Drawing Workshop with Jeremy Burns | Crabtree & Evelyn Islington Townhouse | Monday, 21. January 2019

Discover the fundamental elements of drawing from observation in these fun and relaxed workshops in the Crabtree & Evelyn Islington Townhouse!
Each week we take on a different subject and really learn how to see, and what to look for when trying to draw realistically. Amongst other things we discuss composition, line, form, perspective, tone and colour, and look at how you might combine these elements in order to create stronger and more well balanced drawings.
Whether you'd like to be able to produce powerful works of art, intriguing illustrations or simply express and develop ideas, these classes will provide a useful and practical insight.
Subjects covered range from portraits, still lifes, human form, casts, interiors/exteriors, landscapes and much more, and we draw from both photos and from life.
All levels are welcome, from absolute beginners to the more advanced.
Tuesdays 7-9pm
Materials are provided
Spaces are limited so tickets need to be booked in advance
