Ten teams of four players **** off, but once the dust is settled and the dice are down, only one team will stand victorious! .. Here's a draft of the rules which will be confirmed as soon as possible. 8th edition rules set. 3 games to be played on the day. The missions each round will be predetermined. Each team needs to select a Team Captain. Each player needs to bring two legal army lists, - one at 2000 points - one at 1000 points Both of a players army lists must use the same faction and must include the same warlord. A special character / unique unit can not be selected more than once on a team. .. Games are determined as follows, During round one teams are randomly paired to **** each other. You will use a 2000 point army list. Team Captains will **** each other on table 4. (You do not have to reveal who is the team captain until the other pairs are matched, and any player can 'be the captain' for the purpose of rolling for that rounds pairings using the following method. The real team captains **** each other on table 4.) Both team captains roll off, and the loser must put a player forward to play on table 1. The winning captain then selects a player to go against the player selected first on table 1. The winning captain then puts a player forward to play on table 2. The losing captain then selects a player to go against the player on table 2. This leaves a player from each team to play each other on table 3 that round. . During round two teams will be matched based on their combined team scores. You will use a 2000 point army list. The highest scoring person from each team will **** each other on table 4. (You do not have to reveal who has the highest score until the other pairs are matched) Both team captains roll off, and the loser must put a player forward to play on table 1. The winning captain then selects a player to go against the player selected first on table 1. The winning captain then puts a player forward to play on table 2. The losing captain then selects a player to go against the player on table 2. This leaves a player from each team to play each other on table 3 that round. . During round three teams will be matched based on their combined team scores. You will use a 1000 point army list. You will play 2 v 2 doubles in this round. Each team captain rolls off. The losing captain must put a player onto table one and a player onto table two. The winning captain can then select a player to go on each table to oppose them. The losing captain must then put his last two players in, one onto each table. The winning captain can then put his final two players in, completing the pairing. .. Tournament points are scored as follows, 5 points per major victory 3 points per minor victory 2 points per draw 2 points for being fully painted 1 point for being fully based 1 point for bringing an army list and your books This gives a maximum total of 19 points per player and 76 points per team. A team will receive a bonus 8 points in a round where all 4 of their games are won. This gives a potential team score of 100 points. Ties are decide based on highest combined victory points amongst the team. .. You must use your codex if you have one. Otherwise you use the index list. The cut off for rules releases to use is November 25th
