Acting for Camera - Manchester | Friends Meeting House | Thursday, 17. October 2019

What  makes us better?

You'll build confidence through scene study and creative explorations. Working with contemporary scripts from stage, film and television, you'll learn how to create a resonant character that an audience can connect with. Our experienced and qualified practitioners will enable you to create a 'stage truth' that adds impact. You'll explore a wide range of genres and understand the essentials of Given Circumstance, Units and Objectives and Internal/External Tempo Rhythm.

Great acting is about living in the present moment and understanding the craft enough to avoid anticipating the next. Our classes will help you work towards the art of 'non-anticipation'.You’ll also explore Meisner alongside other practitioner influences. We'll look at auditions and cold reads, self taping, marketing and effective use of social media. Aspects of film and television technique will be covered in depth.

That's not all...

Our classes will use Ultra HD broadcast equipment to facilitate evaluation of your work. You'll be on camera most weeks. Its immersive learning designed to get you 'set ready'. Feedback is provided to secure progress.

We also offer showreel and headshot services to ensure you're agent and casting friendly.

We offer a bespoke and extremely competitively priced premium service.
