Represent! Voices 100 Years On exhibition | People's History Museum | Saturday, 02. June 2018

Discover what representation meant in 1918 and the issues of equality that exist today.
An engaging and interactive exhibition, voiced by an editorial team of community groups which draws inspiration from historical pieces in the museum’s collections.
The exhibition includes significant suffrage material from the early 20th century, featuring the recently acquired Manchester suffragette banner, together with material from present day groups including the Manchester Women’s March, Repeal the 8th, and Safety4Sisters.
The museum is open seven days a week from 10.00am to 5.00pm, Radical Lates are the second Thursday each month, open until 8pm. The museum is free to enter with a suggested donation of £5. Winner of Kids in Museums Family Friendly Museum Award 2017.
