Imposter syndrome and low self esteem. | Hilton Nottingham | Saturday, 23. November 2019

This event is aimed at people who experience their own Imposter syndrome and low self-esteem or those who work with those experiencing Imposter syndrome. the purpose of the workshop is the gain a fuller understanding of where it comes from, the psychology behind it and of course most importantly, how we manage it.
Imposter syndrome is those moments in life where we feel we are going to be found out to be a fraud, it mostly happens in the workplace, but not always. In was first recognized in women, we now understand anybody can experience it. Low self-esteem, low self-worth, lack of self-respect is, of course, the inability to offer yourself the same worthiness and self-respect we might offer others.
For me, the two subjects are linked, so much so I would argue that imposter syndrome is impossible to have without some level of low self-esteem.
