Sunday 25th February - Guest Artist: Nigel Price (guitar)

Over a career spanning more than 25 years, award winning jazz guitarist Nigel Price has become widely acknowledged as one of the hardest working musicians in the business. Musically, his blend of flowing bebop lines, deep blues sensibility and his mastery of chording continue to delight audiences and fellow musicians alike. His career highlights include a support show for Gladys Knight at The Royal Albert Hall and an appearance on Van Morrison’s recent album Keep Me Singing.

Nigel recieved a Parliamentary Jazz Award in 2010 for BEST ENSEMBLE as well as nominations for BEST GUITARIST in the 2014 & 2016 British Jazz Awards.

Guest artist & house band from 5:30pm, jam session 6:30pm - 9:00pm.


Sunday 25th March - Guest Artist: Hugh Pascall (trumpet)

Nottingham based award winning graduate of Royal Academy of Music and Paris with an array of ensembles, including his own quintet, recent notable appearances include The Barbican, as part of the London Jazz Festival, the North Sea Jazz Festival and Glastonbury. He is a soloist with the E17 Large Ensemble led by John Turville and the newly formed Birmingham Jazz Orchestra, led by Hans Koller. He has also recently performed with the BBC's Claire Martin and Julian Joseph. Hugh has also appeared on the X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing.

Pascall is a recipient of the Sir Elton John Scholarship and the Scott-Fulbritzer Jazz Prize.
