If we train in meditation, our mind will gradually become more and more peaceful, and we shall experience a purer and purer form of happiness. Eventually we shall be able to stay happy all the time, even in the most difficult circumstances.

 Although we often understand the benefits of meditation we can find it difficult to know how to start a daily meditation practice for ourselves.
This short course will help us:
•   Start and sustain a daily meditation practice
•   Learn how to prepare well so that our meditation is effective
•  To gain familiarity with several meditations to take away and practise daily
•   Understand how to overcome drowsiness, distractions and other obstacles to our meditation practice
•   Develop confidence to take our meditation practice into our daily life
The day comprises two one-hour sessions with guided meditations and a talk with experienced Meditation Teacher Sue Gunn.
Everybody welcome, no experience needed. Refreshments are included.
