Silver Swans® Licensee Training (London) | University of Roehampton | Thursday, 25. July 2019

This one day workshop introduces experienced ballet teachers to Silver Swans®, with a focus on devising and delivering safe and inclusive ballet classes for older learners, and strategies which engage students with diverse experiences and abilities. Completion of the workshop will entitle participants to deliver Silver Swans branded ballet classes, including use of its logo in promoting your Silver Swans classes, a marketing tool-kit and inclusion on an interactive ‘Find a Teacher’ map.
If you are not an RAD Registered Teacher, you need to complete the pre-verification form to confirm your eligibility. This form can be submitted at any time, but must be completed by 1 July in order to register for training on 25 July. Failure to submit a fully completed application may delay your application’s approval. Your application will be reviewed within five working days of the application closing date.
EligibilityIn order to participate in this workshop, you must either:
Hold RAD Registered Teacher status, orHold an Intermediate ballet qualification or equivalent, plus a dance teaching qualification at Level 4 OR can evidence dance teaching experience in professional contextsIf you are an RAD Registered Teacher, you may apply direct for a Silver Swans Licensee Training place by clicking the green 'Tickets' button.
If you are not an RAD Registered Teacher, you will need to verify your eligibility for Silver Swans Licensee Training before you are able to register for a place. Information on how to do so is available at this page.(If you have been notified that you are eligible to take part in Silver Swans Licensee Training, please refer to your confirmation email, which contains the access code to unlock your place.)
Please note, the license fee is until 31 August.
