What is Sculpture in the Gardens?
Sculpture in the Gardens is a free public event held for 3 months biennially at the Auckland Botanic Gardens. The exhibition’s main feature is a 1.8km sculpture trail through the Gardens. The event also features indoor galleries, guided walks, entertainment and workshops.
The upcoming exhibition will be the 7th one held, and will run 17 November 2019 - 1 March 2020.
The event is undertaken by the Friends of the Auckland Botanic Gardens, supported by Auckland Council and the Auckland Botanic Gardens.
How long is the workshop?
The workshop itself runs for two hours.
Are refreshments included?

Hot drinks and home baking will be provided for a $3 per person. Please bring cash on the day, or if you are booking as a group we can invoice you following the workshop.
What if I need to cancel?
We appreciate that things can come up that mean you are no longer able to make it. We would appreciate as much notice as possible so that we can offer this opportunity to someone else. If you book more than 5 tickets you will be considered a group and will be expected to give 48 hours notice.
Yes! Connect the Dots' Make Moments programme comes with two foxies. They are very friendly.
Why is it free?
Through the generous support of Friends of the Garden. The Friends are a not-for-profit group, who’s vision for the event is: To provide “Sculpture for everyone’” by making high quality, contemporary New Zealand sculpture easily accessible and enjoyable by a wide local and international audience.
