University Certificate in Professional Development (UCPD): European Machinery Safety Requirements - Cheshire | The Park Royal | Monday, 12. October 2020

The UCPD was developed due to market demand for a recognised qualification in Machinery Safety. Over a number of years, TÜV SÜD clients asked whether they could receive accredited training that could be used towards their Professional Development. The demand was such that TÜV SÜD took the bold step towards producing this unique qualification.
After successfully launching the first UCPD course, European Machine Safety Requirements, TÜV SÜD have now expanded the portfolio to now include specific courses for electrical safety and functional safety of machinery.

These completed assessments must be sent to TÜV SÜD as hard copy which makes up the delegate’s assessment portfolio.
Benefits of Attending
Delegates will come away with practical experience of carrying out CE Marking and PUWER assessment, whilst also understanding the role of EN standards and how to apply them to assist with legal compliance.
Who should attend?
The course is aimed at managers, engineers and duty holders who are involved in the purchasing, use and maintenance of machinery and carry out assessments of machinery as part of their job role.
