11th anniversary organ recital by Thomas Trotter | Worcester Cathedral | Saturday, 05. October 2019

In celebration of the eleventh anniversary of the Quire Organ, we welcome Thomas Trotter to Worcester Cathedral.
Thomas Trotter is Birmingham City Organist, a position that he has held since 1983.  In addition to his regular recitals at Birmingham Town Hall, he is recognised as one of the world’s leading organ recitalists.  The recital programme will include Edward Elgar’s Sonata for Organ, which had its first performance given on the organ of Worcester Cathedral in 1895.
Unreserved seating in the Quire. Tickets will be £15 (on the door or through the Eventbrite box office - fees apply), with free entry for under 18s and those in full-time education.
